Dear Guest!

Welcome to my page! I hope, you will find something useful and awarding for yourself here. People like to criticize Moscow for its being too dirty, noisy, aggressive and restless. But, as a Muscovite in the fifth generation and urban historian, I love it for its culture, architecture and special atmosphere. However, always dreaming of its perfection, of course. Big cities are very much alike and different at the same time. Only jointly we can find the way of making them better. Sharing our knowledge, brainstorming, bringing ideas of small towns into orbit.

I am very lucky to be involved with the All-Russia Science Festival. I am responsible for the international relations there.

My scope of interests includes the impact of politics on culture and urban environment, PR, urban communications, urban symbols and monumental art.

Here is a famous quote by Doug Larson “Instead of giving a politician the keys to the city, it might be better to change the locks”. May it become outdated at some point of time!

My short urban essays  are on my Facebook in Russian and English.
Will appreciate your comments on my last radio interview at Sputnik International with John Harrison.  https://sputniknews.com/radio_level_talk/201708241056745869-should-statues-be-destroyed/
